WY ELK HUNTING
Western Wyoming - Greys River Elk Hunts
Here at Greys River Outfitters we cater to both Archery and Rifle elk hunts. These hunts take place in units 90, 92 and 94. We enjoy the opportunity to hunt our elk during multiple seasons of the fall. Our archery hunts are very action packed with a majority of our archery hunters having multiple encounters on bulls each day. We locate a lot of bulls bugling in the dark timber, or spot their herds in open parks and aspens. We love the challenge of working through the satellite bulls and cows trying to get a shot at the herd bull.
Our Rifle hunts are later in the fall when majority of the bulls are done rutting. A lot of the bulls move back up to higher elevation and bachelor back up. This makes for a fun hunt on horseback when you can spot a lot of bulls from a distance and make plan to execute the stalk. These hunts are high success. We do majority of our traveling on horseback and the horseback adventure is worth the trip alone. Once we spot, or locate our target bull, we will either cut some distance off on horses before beginning the stalk, or take of on foot from there. We will assist with all the harvest photos you want, take pride in the way we handle and care for your meat while quartering and packing it back to camp.
Whether you are archery or rifle hunting, we will provide the following: pack your game back to your vehicle at camp, all 3 meals, 1 full-time guide for up to 2 hunters, unless a 1x1 hunt is booked prior to hunt, horses for transportation and use of all our facilities. You will Arrive to camp the afternoon on the day prior to your hunt and will depart from camp the morning after the last day of your elk hunt.
Rifle or Archery (party size up to 6):
- 5 Full Hunt Days- 1x1 $8,500.00
- 5 Full Hunt Days- 2x1 $7,500.00
Non-hunter (in camp) $200 per day
Non-hunter (ride along) half price of hunt cost
